I've had this Chromebook for 6 years and to be fair it has been amazing. Its really odd but when I got it I wondered whether the lack of Memory and Traditional meaty hard drive would make it useless to me but it has been quite the contrary. I have found that as time has passed and the world has become more cloud based it has actually become MORE relevant and useful.
The other odd thing is that while my old i7 computer and got slower and slower as it has gone out of date this machine has stayed exactly the same.

Everything works, I don't know how they do it but it just works.
Google docs and Mail are as reliable as ever.
They keys have lasted well.
I did stand on the screen once but I managed to fit a new one with little hassle.
It was not expensive either, I got the entry level model.
This machine is still used every single day but me and my wife. It has been round the world with me. It has helped me out when I got trapped in Europe and has seen a load of action.
If it broke now I would not mind but I'm not getting another until it does and it feels as solid as it always did.
Get a newer version. These are great.
