It is remarkable that although this is a short novella of only 17,000 words, it is not rushed at all and it maintains all aspects of a great mystery story. The plot is gripping, with imaginative twists, bloodcurdling moments and suspense throughout. The characters are fascinating and well developed, and the descriptions of the haunting castle in Victorian Cornwall are amazing.
This historical mystery novella is wonderful and I highly recommend it.

This short story is interesting enough, if fairly predictable; quite atmospheric and readable, I would have liked it to have been a longer tale.Published 17 months ago by Solitude
