I have loved all Belle's previous books and that is why she has been an automatic 1 click for me but I have to say, I was disappointed with this one. For me it just wasn't up to the same standard as her other books - storyline, writing quality or humour. Sometimes it even felt as if it was written by somebody else. Two storylines in this bk, falling for the escort and falling for the best friends sister and it was all very cliché. I expected something extra or different from Belle tackling this story line but unfortunately not. At times it dragged and then the whole story just moved too fast with the whole instalove thing. Quinn must be rare and extremely blessed in the world of escorting, because he loved all the women he slept with and thoroughly enjoyed his time with them but he seemed to be exceptionally lucky that ALL his clients were fit and hot with great bodies which we hear about in detail - yeah right, that's why they have to pay escorts. And really I didnt need to hear about that many of his clients or how attractive he found them or how much he enjoyed them. We readers don't want to hear about ALL the other females or how hot they are, we like to think the h is special and the H finds her hotter than any other girl. Didn't really get that here.

But one of my biggest peeves about this book was the lack of continuity e.g. Harry's job changed numerous times between a bar tender who had late nights and slept all day to working in an office and is an early riser, plus the timelines seemed off at times, like different people writing Quinn's and Mia's POV's. Seriously, do writers not do at least one reread or do editors or beta readers not pick up on these things. Then the random pov's and Matt's back story at the end, why?

Well I had read reviews and wasn't sure what to expect

But I was surprised with the writing and found myself in deeper with the storyline and the characters , I must say at some parts the story did sway away from charters a bit too much for me and I skimmed a few pages her and there .

Overall I paid for the book and enjoyed it over two nights ,

Really looking forward to reading Harrys story !!! Can't wait I think it will be worth while waiting 😊

I really enjoyed this book - more so the second half. The characters were really loveable and fun, but I'd still say it wasn't the best from Belle Aurora - she's set such high standards with her other reads. Still worth a read.

This storyline just drags out for me, they are on, they are off, they stand offish its like 2 kids rather than grown ups. Its a shame as its story line with potential. Its did jump from scene to scene a lot with what felt like gaps in-between. Not a book for me.

Having only read one other book by Belle Aurora, namely Raw, I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. Now whilst it didn't have me wanting to pull my hair out and screaming NOOOOOO by the end, this book was, in its own way, a brilliant read.

It is mainly told from Mia and Quinn's point of view and the chapters themselves are quite short, which I love.

I absolutely adored Mia. She was sweet, quirky and had the right amount of self esteem issues to make you emotionally attached to her. There were times when I really imagined myself from her point of view.

I've read a few Male Escort books and in all honesty this book didn't seem to contain any of the usual plotlines commonly found in this genre of book, making it a very refreshing read indeed.

Quinn originally came across as quite cold when it came to his job, but very quickly those traits were overshadowed by a warm, caring and considerate guy who it was hard not fall in love with, in a book boyfriend sense.

Now I have to admit, I didn't become emotionally invested in this book immediately and that mainly is down to Quinn's chosen occupation, essentially having sex with other women.

I loved the build up to Quinn and Mia's relationship. I loved the method in which they communicated. I also loved Mia's relationship with her family, especially her brother.

So all in all a thoroughly enjoyable story, that bears no resemblance to Raw in any way, shape, or form and that is more than OK with me.

This is a review for About Last Night by Bella Aurora.
I was asked to review this on behalf of A Book Lover's Emporium.
What a fantastic book !!! Loved every minute and could not literally put it down, I read it until 3am in the morning until my eye's could no longer stay open.
All the character's were lovable. Harry and Quinn were both delectable and the sex scene's are really hot. Had to admire Mia the lady in the story. I was willing her on and I really felt for her. By the end of the book my heart was full, I really didn't want it to end.
Even now writing this I want to go back and read more about them all. Bella Aurora writing is exceptional as usual, I love her work. A must read for everyone who loves a good old romance/forbidden fruit kind of story. It will not disappoint. !!!

Belle has done it again - fab story, amazing characters and a swoonworthy male lead.
Mia is a young lady who has been in love with her bros bff for years, after 5 years away she returns home determined to make him her first lover, this is easy as she has changed so much her won't remember her and he is a male escort- hired. Funny story line, amazing chemistry and Quinn is the cutest alpha male I have ever read about esp with his love for Mia as it grows. Recommend highly, belle is an amazing writer and I would recommend the friends zoned series after this cool book.
