Worked straight out of the box and the interface is rather good for non touch setup!
I'm not going to be using this for anything advanced like playing games or browsing the web, all I need it to do is display pictures on a TV screen. I was using an old redundant mobile phone with a HDMI cable, but the HDMI port gave up the ghost so I looked for an alternative solution and found this!
Less than £25 gets you a device that is more than capable of displaying HD films and videos and can stream data from a NAS box. It does only connect via 2.4ghz rather than 5ghz, but for most that won't be a problem.
It also comes with a HDMI extension/flexible cable which I don't need but might be useful depending on your HDMI port placement. I has a full size USB port and a 2 micro USB ports, one for power and one for another USB device which will require a OTG cable which wasn't included.
Overall I am very happy with this little device. You can use this to make a any TV a Smart TV for about £25 quid.
You will need a keyboard and/or mouse to navigate around Android, but there are plenty of these around and cost about £10 for something pretty decent.
Well done to you digitals very happy customer
I took it a step further last month and cleared out one of the old PC's and now the kids use this as their main computer with a 32" TV. No problem getting apps which replicate word, excel, powerpoint (or Google Docs) for the homework and hooking it up to the wireless printer. They have all the movies from the NAS drive plus iplayer, catchup tv etc and the Internet speed is fine (router downstairs, MK809 upstairs). Everyone I have shown it to is going to buy one for their kids Christmas and use it the same way and one for the "big TV" in the livingroom so that says it all really.
This is a fantastic product and took about 2 minutes to set up (using the same google account as my android phone).

Was working fine but over heated and stopped working, replaced it with XBMC box which was a waste of money.Published 6 months ago by Danny C.
Save your money on not having to buy a smart tv! Instead buy one of these and (add it to a HD Tv) and it'll basically turn your tv into an android tablet. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Amazon Customer
