Product Description
AZ-Delivery GY-BME280 Barometric Temperature Air Pressure Sensor Module is one of the latest humidity, pressure and temperature sensors with a digital I2C interface.
On the breakout, there is the original chip, a voltage regulator and a level converter for the I2C interface.
With high resolution and low power consumption this sensor module is ideal for all makers.
Whether for the supporting altitude determination for GPS, in model making, or as a weather station, through a universal interface and popular libraries for Raspberry Pi & Co.
Thanks to the fixed voltage regulator and logic level converter "on board" this sensor works perfectly with all micro-controllers.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2020Number Of Items: 3Verified PurchaseI ordered 3, these were delivered quickly. Of the 3 I set up with ESP8266 nodes running ESPHome. Two are working fine and report sensor values that are in rough agreement with each other and a DHT22 sensor I have. I haven't got a calibrated measurement yet so I can't speak for their accuracy out of the box but they seem reasonable. The last BME280 failed to communicate with the ESP and became red hot to the point of burning my fingers when I picked it up, I guess I'm unlucky but I don't want to return all 3 for the sake of this one now they are deployed.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2023Number Of Items: 3Verified PurchaseI tried to get help from A-Z without success! So have decided to write a review.
I set the I2C address to 0 x 77 using the onboard link. They just overheat ! I found other online information that some of these BME 280 sensors have a fault on their circuit board and the A-Z ones seem to have this same fault.
As long as one does not use the onboard address links I found that these sensors work with a default address of 0 x 76. Would be good to know ! I expected better from A-Z and I expected some help.
