TIPS:
- Not all micro SD cards will work with this camera. I had a class 10 unbranded card before buying the camera so thought it'd work fine in this. It didn't, only a few videos would play on my computer. I then bought this SD card: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00519BEQY?ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3 and my problem was solved and everything is working fine.
- The in car power adapter isn't good. It interfered with my radio signal so decided to buy a 3M USB to mini USB lead and a dual USB in car adapter, both of which work perfect with the camera. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NB00KO2?ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1

- It requires some force in order for you to remove the camera from the sticky thing that you use to stick onto the windscreen. At first I thought the sticky thing would come off, but it is very strong and most likely won't. I'd advise when putting the camera back into the slot on the sticky thing, don't push it all the way down. This will allow you to remove the camera with not as much force.
VERDICT: Overall I'm very happy with the dash cam. It produces good quality video (not the best at night time, but still pretty decent), it is very secretive and difficult for anyone to see. The lens moves so you can adjust it to the angle that suits you.
Look at videos on YouTube to have an idea of the quality. I'd also advise you to purchase a branded class 10 micro SD card and a USB car adapter as listed above!
The supplied wire was a bit too short to be hidden behind trim and reach my lighter socket, which is right next to the handbrake (why would they put it there??!), so connected it with a longer wire to a cheap in-car USB twin adapter (I use a satnav through it too), and added an in-line switch to the camera wire. This setup interfered badly with the FM radio, so I added 2 clip-on ferrite cores to the wire. Now it is fine. You can wire the camera to the fuse-box so that it automatically comes on with the ignition, but it's fiddly and didn't bother. Also, my USB socket is always powered, so with my current setup I can leave the camera running while the car is parked and switched off if I want to.
The camera overwrites old files after about 6 hours with a 32 Gb card on my settings, so I leave the card in until I want to review or keep something, then I take it out and put it in a card reader on the PC. You'll need a fingernail on your index finger to get the card out! The mount works well and it's easy to slide the camera off if you want to remove it. I haven't used the screen on the unit -too small. The tiny leds on the camera are bright but small, so they don't catch your eye at night.
I'm generally very pleased with it so far.
