    Great value but not for me.
    This TUF Gaming VG279QL1A monitor offers great value for its price range, arguably making it one of the best budget gaming monitors out there. However, I found the 27-inch display doesn't quite do justice to its resolution; a 24-inch version with the same specifications might have been more suitable.Performance-wise, it was disappointing when used as a second monitor via a USB-C to DisplayPort connection, with frequent disconnections, especially problematic when using G-Sync mode and HDR. Despite these issues, the monitor shines in terms of color accuracy and brightness—it clearly outperforms my other monitors in these aspects.One drawback is the power supply; instead of a standard kettle lead, it uses a specific adapter, which is a bit inconvenient if you prefer universal or easily replaceable cables. Overall, while the monitor has excellent color and brightness, its resolution and connectivity issues could be deal-breakers for some users.

    These monitors work great at 240hz. The image is sharp and the colours all look good. I have 3 of them side by side and they do what I need for gaming and work purposes very well, if you're working in art or anything that needs nice accurate rich colours I recommend these.

    The only problem with these monitors is whenever they're not set to 240hz in my experience the image quality is horrendous with this really strange colour bleeding/ghosting/chromatic aberration effect that glides along with any colour on the screen. 60hz and 30hz on these look bad, however they may be alright if you're playing on a console or something (I have a vague feeling that when I played on PS5 with one of these to test them out ages ago they looked just fine, but not 100% on this). This effect is heavily reduced to it being barely noticeable the higher refresh rate you go, and at 240hz its mostly unnoticeable. You might still see it very very faintly if there's a moving thin line (like looking at rails in a video game).

    There might be a way to fix this but keep in mind you really want these to be at 240hz at all times, at least in my experience using them. If that sounds fine and you can afford the extra power then these monitors will do a great job.

    I dont normally wright reviews but don't see many about this model VG27BQ. Thats probably because it is a TN panel and not IPS. However after reading many reviews and videos online about the faults that come with IPS panels in general not just from Asus (let me make that clear), things like ghosting, bad light bleed and dead pixels. I decided to go with the TN model and boy do NOT regret it at all the image quality and smoothness with its 0.4ms response time ,144-165hz Oc this thing is amazing every thing looks so crisp and detailed my phone camera doesn't do it enough justice really I have this in same room as my OLED and it looks great. Tbh you wouldn't be able to tell unless you had the IPS version sat side by side with it. As for viewing angles you would have to be sat at some redicules angles either directly at the side or below for that to be a issue honestly lets face it that's just not going to happen. If you have multiple screen setup it maybe a slight issue but I don't so can't comment on that to much, all i know is Asus as done an amazing job with this TN panel and if you want a truly great image, fasest response times and don't have a multiple screen setup then this is the one to go for.

    Mir wurde schon immer von allen Freunden und auch Arbeitskollegen nahe gelegt einen 144 Hz Monitor zu besitzen, der Unterschied würde mich umhauen und mir auch einen kleinen Vorteil im Gaming verschaffen. Ich schaute mich also auf dem Markt um und bin auf dieses Modell gestoßen.
    WQHD und 144 Hz für einen akzeptablen Preis, da musste ich zuschlagen.

    Die Einrichtung ging fix und ohne Probleme über die VESA-Halterung. Schnell auch Windows mitgeteilt, dass der Monitor 144 Hz unterstützt und schon ging's los.

    Das ganze Erlebnis fühlt sich einfach deutlich flüssiger an, ich habe mich sofort verliebt. Dank weiteren Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, welche man am Monitor vornehmen kann, macht auch Gaming unheimlich viel Spaß (z.B. Crosshair, Schatteneinstellungen & Co.)

    Ich habe grundsätzlich keine Kritik, der Monitor wird zwar nach einigen Stunden gebrauch am unteren Rand etwas warm, dass finde ich allerdings nicht so tragisch.
