that being said! i still use this computer every day. i bought a usb wired mouse to use with it instead of the trackpad and the keys are lovely and smooth to type on, much better than my lenovo. if you only need this notebook for word processing and cloud storage as i do, then you should absolutely take the plunge as i personally think it is great value for money when my other options in a similar price range were tablets. ALSO this little thing has excellent battery life, 10 hours on word processor or 7 hours on the internet which really impressed me. and its very light and easy to carry around as it is both thin and small.
pros: battery life, great keyboard, good value for money
cons: bad trackpad, small memory, bloatware
should you buy?: yes, if you need a word processor than can connect to the cloud, browse the internet once in a while, and watch the occasional netflix episode
I've been deceived by Asus and Microsoft.
The Asus TP203 with Windows 10 is the worst computer I have had in all my life. I bought it 5 months ago.
I wonder how a company like Asus can sell a computer that just cannot work after some time. The Windows update make it impossible to use the computer, because it cannot be disabled, but it needs space there do not exist in the computer.
It reaches a point that you cannot even save your documents after editing them.
And after hours trying to understand how to boot from USB for maybe install a more honest OS, like Linux, you just cannot find out. I would say that it is a trap.
Again: the worst computer and OS I have seen.
This laptop crashed when I followed the prompts for Windows 10. For two days I was stuck on the BSoD (Blue Screed of Death). I spent two days using my other laptop (luckily I still had my old laptop) Google-ing help and suggestions from various sites. Nothing worked.....so I had to return it.
(Also the keyboard was irritatingly spongy)
Currently locked up performing updates that will fail.
