All the capacitors on this board are built with 100% all solid capacitors. With these solid caps, ASRock motherboards are allowed to perform more stably and ensure longer lifetime. Besides the two USB 3.0 ports on the rear I/O supported by the chipset, this motherboard also has an added chip to support an additional front USB 3.0 header for two more USB 3.0 ports. Compared to other competitors' 3 Power Phase design, ASRock uses 4 Power Phase design and sturdy components for delivering smoother power to the CPU, thus enhancing the motherboard's performance at lower temperatures.
Note: Use one single memory module to start the motherboard. Once it is running, refresh its BIOS, after this you can add memory modules.

Fired up first time and I got all my drivers etc direct from Asrocks website.
If it has the features you need go for it, it is an absolute bargain.
I coupled mine with an Intel Haswell Pentium CPU and I have another great PC for next to nothing.
Sent this item straight back and you'll end up doing the same!
Although XMP profiles is supported by this board, it disappears from the UEFI options when you stick the G3258 cpu in, as the cpu supports only DDR3-1066/1333. I could find no way to utilize the full speed of my DDR3-2400 dimm's. So as a piece of advice, just stick with no-nonsense DDR3-1333 ram or DDR3-1600 in case you would prefer having a little 'breathing room' to tighten the RAM timings.
I'm impressed with the quickness/stability of the BIOS, quick POST, rock stable voltages (one of the very few cheap H81 boards with 4+2 phase VoltageRegulation). I have my machine running @ 4400 MHz core all cores (EIST enabled) - Vcore 1.200V / 4300MHz uncore - Vuncore 1.200V / 1100 MHz GT - Vgt 0.800 V (although I could reach 1750 MHz - Vgt 1.275). Full stable (Prime95 overnight + daily use) running 24/7.
So far so good, tiny heat spreaders seem to do the job and VR seem to cope with the load.
Only nudges the lack of XMP profiles (but I assume it's the cpu to blame) and the not so good implementation of User profiles on BIOS. It fails to load another profile, although stable and tested, on first boot. It takes a couple of reboots, maybe the odd shutdown-force reboot, to load the otherwise perfectly stable BIOS profile.
NOTE: If you have a problem with audio over HDMI, note that Windows 7 uses generic HDMI audio drivers, and although device seems recognised and functioning properly, it doesn't. Just update driver with HDMI sub-driver from Intel VGA driver.
