So. Other 450 motherboards often have limited functionality compared to their 470 counterparts, such as overclocking memory or processor, and lots of little features.
Asrock have bucked this trend and given you almost every feature possible on this board shy of very specific features that need the X470 chip. So its very good value for money. And well built too, I'm impressed. Its not overtly "gamer" either, its quite subdued and no RGB in sight - which is a plus in my eyes.
Contents of the box are rather limited in comparison to say an Asus X470, you get a basic IO plate, a few cables and the wifi antenna and that's you it. But at the end of the day, its a hell of a lot cheaper.
Performance wise, I've had zero issues with a Ryzen 5 2600. Everything worked, clean install of windows and then install of latest drivers for chipset (and gpu too) from AMDs site and we were cooking with gas. My Trident Z RAM clocked straight to 3200Mhz without issues.
Happy with Asrock as always having used many of the boards for various other builds too. Delivery was fast and well packaged.
