This material helps create softer landings and a more energized toe-off during your training. The heel stabilizer helps support the foot and create a more balanced stride. The sock liner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage and carbon emissions; compared to the conventional dyeing technology.     I love the Novablast 4
    I use these for work walking about 10 to upwards of 40+ KM a day. I use them in a rotation with the Nimbus 25 and Hoka Speedgoat 5 and another Novablast 4
    Previous shoes I use in the last few years have primarily been HOKA Bondi 7 & 8 and Clifton.
    I hade to size up to 10.5 where I wear a 10 in the Bondi. I find asics slight more snug but I actually preferred it once I got used to it.

    For me on pavement I find they are a bit more firm then the nimbus and over a longer amount of time that actually helps keep my feet and legs feeling energetic throughout my day. I also carry upwards of 50lbs of gear so they are absorbing a decent amount of weight.
    My only real con has been traction in the wet or off pavement. Definitely off pavement things have been a little dicey with them on. I doubt this is normal for most and they are not intended as a trail shoe. My job requires a bit of on dirt or grass however so you do need to really focus your footing when in these on that terrain. The same will be when it’s really wet and raining. Usually I just wear my goretex trail shoes but sometimes the weather changes mid day and I can’t change our shoes.
    All in all this is my favourite shoe I’ve worked in over the last decade.
    There are lots of reviews for running in them but I hope this helps as a walker.
