Book Description

Student workbooks are designed to help build students understanding of topic areas in AS and A2 religious studies as they progress through the course. They can compliment class work, and provide homework tasks and revision exercises. There are workbooks at AS and A2 on ethics and on philosophy of religion. Each workbook covers the key topics most often studied at this level. The topics can be covered sequentially, or selectively, to fit into existing schemes of work. Each topic is introduced by notes on key aspects, followed by a series of exercises which tests students knowledge, understanding and evaluation of the topic. The exercises are not examination questions, but are designed to help students develop the skills they need to exhibit in the examination. Space is provided in the workbooks for students responses.Answers to the questions are provided in an accompanying set of Teachers Notes. Where the answers are evaluative, and can therfore draw on a range of legitimate responses, the notes provide suggestions for style and approach. Student Workbooks are printed in full colour throughout and are available in class sete of 10,priced at £40 per set. Each set of workbooks includes one FREE copy of Teachers Notes. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.
