Like the blurb says, Brianne is engaged to Chad, a colleague in her father's company, where she is the director of PR. She's been pressuring Chad about not waiting til their wedding night, and when 'he' slips into bed with her and apparently shows her what she's been missing, a total of 3 times, no less, she's convinced that she must love the guy and all her doubts vanish. Until, she turns and finds a stranger in her bed.
Of course, this being a romance, their paths have to cross again, and he turns out to be the guy she and her father are meeting with, and initially they pretend not to know each other, but eventually, when her parents see how their daughter is changing to try to mould herself into the 'fuddy-duddy' that her fiance, Chad, would like her to be, they conspire with Jake to get her away from him.
OK, so it was pretty trite and predictable, which I expected, but I didn't expect that Brianne, apparently so successful in her job, would allow herself to be put-down and cowed by her fiance. It seemed as if she didn't have any backbone.Read more ›
