Great Arm. I wanted to buy an arm like I was using at work, but his turned out to be £300. However, I found this arm and it is truly excellent value and it is just as good. I would have happily paid three times the price for the quality.
Strong design and very solid product. Also nicely finished and looks expensive. Rock solid, and I have the biggest monitors on that the arm I s rated for.
This is best suited for a set up where the screens are adjusted and left, rather than bounced up and down every five minute (height adjustment requires loosening and tightening two grub screws). The arms are easily positioned, in and out (as well as monitor togetherness); while the monitors are mounted on a ball joint that allow spin, and angles in all three dimensions. Again Allen bolts allow the movement to be loose or rock solid (definitively no monitor droop over time).
Fitting instruction were basic, but comprehendible. Lots of screws for every sort of monitor (both sizes of VESA catered for) and usefully Allen keys for the job. However, I did find a few screws were a little tight, and could be cross threaded if you were a bit careless. I would recommend checking all the screws go in first, before assembly. In particular, the monitor bracket drops onto the arm (a particularly good design) and is neatly secured by a small Allen bolt which can be tricky if you are working from the front with big monitors (as I was).
Having used a lot of computer monitor arms over the years, this is definitely as good as they get.
