All the key content and links to the specification. Split into the 3 sections - physical, organic and inorganic.Up to date for the new specification. Only issue is I have spotted a few minor mistakes. That, and at points it doesn't explain things in as much detail - it is good when you already know the content but not if you are trying to self-teach from scratch.

FABFABFAB I love it. Great condition and the book is a must. I understand it may be a bit pricey however if its for your education i think its a good investment, you cannot go off cgps for a level, not enough detail.

Lots of content from the 2015 specification is missing from this book - even though it's the second edition. It is essentially the old 2004 specification with a few changes and very little new content. Avoid.

Absolutely great book for chemistry knowledge, I would also recommend using other books as well as this to secure knowledge as different books have different ways of wording things. But this book on its own can do a lot

In more than one topic 2 different definitions are provided for the same thing. Additionally some topics mentioned on the syllabus are not even present eg Arrhenius equation

This book is clear and (usually) easy to understand but it is strewn with errors mainly, but not exclusively, in the question and answer sections. I wonder what the First Edition was like!

I'm a Chemistry A level student and find it an easy textbook to use but some may argue it's quite wordy - overall very much my sort of textbook!
