Brilliant!!!!! The cassettes had given up the ghost many years ago so when I saw this was due for release I pre-ordered. The result is great and I'm bopping away remembering mis-spent evenings in the Marquee Club. Guys, if you do ever decide to do it again, i'll be there square dancing along with the rest. Thanks for the memories.

What do I say? Fan-apple-fabulous!!!!!

I've always loved Acid Reign, they brought so much joy to my life during the mid to late eighties I can't tell you. I saw them live a gazzillion times, got to know Kev and H reasonably well, and never had anything but a fantastic time with this lot. Thinking of those days puts an enormous grin on my face. I was born at the right time to fully enjoy the thrash:-metal scene and I have to say that that period of my life was the best. Thanks, in part, to Yorkshire's finest: Acid Reign...

All oldies but complete goldies here: all the albums plus lots of cracking extras, demos etc etc. Nicely packaged too!

Buy with complete confidence! 10/10

See you in the pit for a squaredance!!!!!!

Now this is something I never thought would see the light of day. This really takes me back, actually got to meet these guys back in "88" supporting nuclear assault couldn't get in to the show(too young according to the doorman)but the band sneaked us backstage and let us hang for a bit, still got a pink plectrum given to me from "H".Great band ,still sound great 25 years later..

I don't part with £11 easy these days but when I seen this little collective there was no hesitation, of course I already have all the albums on vinyl from back in the day - Moshkinstein 1988, The Fear 1989 and Obnoxious 1990, but when the worlds finest Apple Core Square dancers release something then you better had buy it..................so I did. Now Im not going into any details of tracks because I think the only people this will appeal to is middle aged men like me who remember Acid Reign from the good old days, men that remember Sodom, Kreator and Slayer leading a new brand of Metal - Thrash, and then Acid Reign putting their stamp on the whole thing. They didn't take themselves to seriously - we didn't care, they weren't the most talented - we looked beyond that small fact. Acid Reign were pure moshing fun and listening to these little gems again reminds me how great is was to be part of a brilliant era, there is also some extra stuff on the CDs so even if you have all the vinyls (like me) its still worth the purchase, you will be singing along like its the 80s again. PS - don't sing - Remember, your mother is the only one who really loves you, in front of your kids, for some reason they get upset..........

Great compilations of virtually everything the 80's thrash metal titans released. I'm not sure quite how this would sound to fresh ears hearing it for the first time now but for aging thrashers this is essential stuff if you were a fan back then of one of the UK's best metal bands of the era.

Picture the scene, 1988 and as a 13 year old I am waiting to see Exodus play at Manchester International, the first support act was Lawnmower Deth who blew me away, then Acid Reign tore up the stage and they sledgehammered my hearing to within an inch of becoming deaf. British thrash metal does not get any better than Acid Reign. H, Kev and the rest of the gang set me well for some toxic waltzing with Exodus later on in the night. I already have The Fear & Moshkinstein on vinyl, but I never got round to buying Obnoxious. This 3 CD set covers all three releases plus extras, and the sound quality is excellent considering it has been remastered from 25 year recordings. It is a real shame that their reign (no pun intended) didn't last longer considering so many poser bands are still around.

Acid Reign for those who weren't there in the late 80's to very early 90's were one of the flagship UK Thrash bands along with Xentrix and Reanimator. UK Thrash has an altogether less polished sound than its US counterparts but that's what makes it special. Gigs were not in huge stadiums and were all about audience participation, fun all the way and often rated as the best gigs attended. This collection contains all of the band's material from the EP and studio albums which is good as most people had these on vinyl and cassette. The songs stand the test of time and so the decision to reboot for 2015 is extremely welcome. Long live Acid Reign.
