2. Cameras must have a infrared receiver in order to function with remote control. (Canon T3/T5 does not have infrared receiver)
Supports E-TTL Auto Flash
In the case of TTL flash metering, it uses what is known as a pre-flash, an almost imperceptible, low-power burst of light prior to the main flash burst to evaluate the flash power to accurately expose the subject in the frame.
TTL will constantly evaluate flash exposure, constantly adjust flash output and remain completely independent of your manual exposure settings.
TTL flash is a boon for photographers. It makes dynamic shooting situations much more tolerable as the camera will do the calculating leaving you, the photographer, doing what you like most, taking photos. When in a fixed studio environment manual flash will still provide more consistent exposures but when outside photographing in a constantly changing environment then TTL is your best friend.
Supports MULTI Mode
MULTI flash mode is when a series of flashes are fired continuously in a single exposure. The multiple bursts of light allow you to freeze a moving subject multiple times as it moves through the frame.
Keep in mind that a dark shooting environment is necessary to achieve optimal results because any constant/ambient light will cause motion blur to be captured between flash bursts.
Creating images using MULTI flash mode is a great way to spend an evening creating fun, creative images.
Take The Flash Unit with You to Capture Amazing Outdoor Moments
Apeman has specially designed a portable protection case for every speedlite flash. There is an exclusive space in bottom for hard diffuser and a strap to fasten 4*AA batteries, as well as a dedicated belt in the back. With all those thoughtful designs, it offers considerable convenience for photographers to take speedlite flash around.
What's in The Box:
1 x APEMAN SL450C Speedlite Flash
1 x Stand
1 x Wireless Infrared Remote Control
1 x Portable Protection Case
1 x Hard Diffuser
An external flash provide superior and "more" control over the lighting and exposure of the subject in low light (and even in bright light where you need to fill flash) situations.
Using a flash when outdoors removes shadows on people's faces or any subject in the foreground. A fill flash simply adds an extra burst of light to balance out the light in your photo and make it more visually appealing.

The TTL II is excellent. My previous flash was a nightmare as it was just manual set, I did some photography for my mums wedding and found that majority of my time was spent on tweaking the exposure settings. Well then days are now over, TTL is basically the camera telling the flash gun what aperture and zoom rating needs to be used so the flash gun can make a “intelligent” decision on how much light it needs to fire and how far the xenon tube needs to be zoomed (maximum amount of light without casting shadows). Occasionally you will need to hit one button to “up” the amount of light but this is super easy on this unit.
I can access the speedlites setting from within my Canon 7D making it simple to use.
I diddnt read to much into this before I bought it but I was unexpectedly surprised to find that when taking a photo in low light the flash gun casts a grid light laser over the subject to aid the camera to auto focus, we have all been there when we expect the camera to focus in on a poorly lit person.
Along with the speedlite you get a lovely case which has been clearly well designed with pockets for spare batteries, diffuser (included), stand (included) and a little remote (also included!).
The user manual is well written but this thing is so simple to use I found myself just flicking through for anything I’ve missed. Packaging is professional looking to the point I would of not battered an eye if this was 3x the price.
Remember in order to use the remote, you will need to go to the timer settings and select one of the timers with a symbol of a remote... that way the camera knows not to fire everytime some with a canon remote hits that button.
I highly recommend buying 4 x AA rechargeable batteries also (8 if you want two sets).
it comes it a very well designed carrying pouch with a remote control and stand as well as a Sto fen style flash diffuser the unit feels and looks quality made Ive used it a lot since purchase and Im very pleased with it's performance and results, overall a bargain and very capable flash unit at a fraction of the cost of a Canon unit.
Buy one you will not regret your purchase .
Cons The manual is small , brief and badly written. Whereas Canon support is excellent, Apeman can only be contacted by email if you have a query about the speedlite. It took days for them to reply and only on second email sent. Fortunately, they answered my query at last otherwise I was on the verge of having to send it back.
Worth considering if, like me, you have never used a speedlite before.
