The AG322QCX is a stylish 31.5″ QHD curved gaming monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1800 mm curvature radius and a “3-sided frameless” design. 144 Hz and Adaptive-Sync technology guarantee a smooth gameplay.
- 31.5″ QHD gaming monitor
- 144 Hz refresh rate
- 1800 mm curvature
- 'Frameless' design
- Adaptive-Sync technology
With 2560 x 1440 resolution, Quad HD (QHD) offers superior picture quality and sharp imagery that reveals the finest details. The widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio provides plenty of space to spread out and work, plus allows you to enjoy games or movies in their original size.
Whatever your setup, achieve the highest framerate and smoothest display possible via AMD Free-Sync Technology. Whether you’re dashing through explosions or screeching around rain slicked bends, wave goodbye to screen tearing and lag and leave your opponents in your smoothly rendered dust.
Bring the battle out of the shadows with Shadow Control. Brighten dark areas or sink them back into blackness on the fly, without affecting the rest of the display.
AOC Flicker-Free Technology utilises a DC (Direct Current) backlight panel, reducing flickering light levels. With eye strain and fatigue absolutely minimised, feel free to enjoy those long, intense gaming sessions in comfort.
144Hz Refresh Rate
For the AGON line, doubling the industry standard refresh rate is just par for the course. Harness the graphical output of your PC with a monitor that can handle it: 144Hz translates high framerates into the level of smoothness and responsiveness appropriate for pro players and the most skilled.

There were stuck pixels. There were dead pixels. There was a cluster of pixels that were neither dead or stuck, they just glowed much brighter than the surrounding pixels. If you could ignore all of that, you wouldn't have been able to ignore the horrendous pixel inversion (if that is the correct description). Any transition from a light colour to a dark(er) colour would create all kinds of random lines extending across the rest of the monitor. Having more than one window open on the screen was just painful as they would generate thin lines across each other. In order to eliminate user error, I tried several different cables across three different PCs and the issue remained constant throughout (and this issue is not evident on any other monitor I have).
Now, if you could ignore all of that (trust me, you can't), you will be rewarded with vibrant colours and really nice black levels ................ however, that's assuming the image is static. As soon as on screen motion is involved the blacks just turn into a horrible, streaky mess, bleeding into the rest of the image. It's bad, really bad.
Ignoring all of the above (highly unlikely), build quality is pretty good .......... however, the LED light guide on the right hand side was noticeably dimmer than the left hand side and the cable ports on the rear of the monitor didn't line up very well the holes in the case. It has a little arm on the side for storing your headphones, I would have used this (no joke).
To check that I wasn't having some kind of brain event, I did a side by side comparison of this monitor vs my cheap 4k monitor from 2014 (the acer CB280HK). The acer has no visible defects and is actually nicer to game on. This is what leads me to believe that the monitor I received was defective.
I did contact AOC regarding this monitor and whether a replacement would be afflicted with such horrible issues but they were unable to confirm as they said they don't manufacture it (?). Thanks AOC.
In conclusion, what I received was horrible. Maybe this monitor slipped through quality control? I'll never know as I'm never buying anything made by AOC again (or not made by AOC in this case, as don't forget, they don't manufacture it). This review only covers the monitor that I received. I've given it two stars as I would have used the headphone arm thing (no joke).
Amazon have been excellent in sorting out the return and refund of this purchase.
update....I have added a couple of images. It should be noted that these issues are much more obvious in person.
THAT SAID, the monitor at 2 dead pixels right out of the package (which had obviously been opened previously, that's not what I call "New"). One around the upper left corner (more like greenish-black) and the other one around the upper right corner of the screen (black - turned off). I feel like I paid a somewhat premium price, and I expected a quality control in line with that, which clearly isn't the case.
After 2 months of everyday use, a pixel suddenly stuck to the color green in the middle-left side of the screen and won't behave back to normal after different attempts to fix it.
Around that time, there was also suddenly a subtle high pitched sound coming from the back of the monitor, even tough the monitor's integrated speakers are disabled in Windows. When it's very calm, late at night, it's very audible and drives me nuts. What is weird is the brighter the screen is, the louder the sound.
Other than those issues, it's an awesome replacement for my old AOC 24" FHD 144Hz TN monitor. VA is much, much more enjoyable to watch films than TN. I did notice some backlight bleed in the lower area of the screen in pitch black scenes though.
Would still recommend.
anyway no dead pixels, no issues at all the curve on the screen is awesome it feels like I'm falling into the monitor weird feeling but very cool.
I think for the money you cant go wrong like I said to follow the video on youtube get it set up and wow amazing, I'm using this on a Nvidia 1080ti Founder Edition. 144mhz no problem.
