After playing the free version, I purchased the full game. The graphics are good, I really like the way you can get a 360 degree view within the game, but find some of the clues hard to find. There is no help button so if you get stuck...your stuck! The sound track has a glitch on it and makes a strange click every 30 seconds, if you wear eaphones the click hurts your ears...but a good game and well worth the download.

Same as the other one. 360 confusing, can't get anywhere, even with the walkthrough, no obvious story line to follow; a mess.

1.0 out of 5 stars awful 9 Jan. 2014

This game made no sense at all and there was nothing to explain the game. There's no hint button and very cheesy graphics. I wish New games were better they are getting worse. I try to give a game a chance because I don't like leaving bad reviews but this game was so bad. Don't waste your time and if you do try it you will see what I mean.

3.0 out of 5 stars the bad-to-mediocre old days 1 Oct. 2015

Just for the record, this is not a new game and it doesn’t claim to be. It doesn’t admit to being a fifteen to twenty year old game, either, though, and that’s a bit of a problem, so I'm writing this to give potential players a fair heads-up:

This is an old-school point and click adventure game of the Tear Your Hair Out variety that was released for the PC in the late 90's or early 00s. Its graphics are low-res and muddy, a problem made worse by the dark palette used for the artwork. (The graphics were an issue even at the time of release, but the game was nevertheless playable on computer monitors. I can't say whether that will remain true of your tablet or phone...

When I say it's old-school and frustrating, anyone familiar with older adventure games will know exactly what I'm referring to: pixel hunts, obscure inventory combos, guess-what-the-dev-was-thinking game logic, etc. This game is a poster child for all of it. Yet, as I recall I enjoyed it for the most part once I had a walkthrough in hand, so that would be my recommendation: grab a walkthrough from a Web archive somewhere and approach it less as a game than an interactive story designed to slow you down in spots by making you break out a secondary source to learn how to continue.

With a walkthrough, you'll probably be through it in a couple of hours, max...more than likely, one hour (if I'm remembering correctly, it is an extremely short game). Without a walkthrough, I doubt you'll ever finish at all. I know I wouldn't have.

I'm giving the game three stars (one, or two at the most, would be technically more accurate, I think) mainly so that people won't just look at my rating and conclude that it’s a junk app cranked out by some teenaged scammer. It's not. It was actually sold in stores back in the day without the software company getting sued or anything. And the story is ok, if a bit goofy. It's not, say, Bram Stoker quality, but its not completely out of left field or beyond the reach of proper grammar guidelines the way most junk app offerings are. That said, the game as a whole is not the epitome of adventure gaming goodness either, so Im fixing it exactly halfway between heaven and hell.
