Cons: Runs fairly hot so I had to get a Coolermaster heatsink but I'm happy with that
I'm an AMD fanboy despite that they don't have the performance crown. Their prices are incredibly fair for the speed and I would prefer to support a business that follows a model ethics strategy. This CPU won't disappoint
It is important to understand that I am not a games player, my requirement is mainly for "grunt power" when rendering out images so perhaps my needs are different to the mainstream but that said, this AMD chip is very good value for money for my needs compared to the Intel range, it is a solid performer
Pros:
Insanely low temps
Very high workload
Its 8 cores for below £125
Cons:
None that I can think of right now
Overall:
Will be using this for a very long time and probably wont be upgradeing until a 16 core comes out at £100 :-)
Watch this space for a graphics card review soon ;)
