Pros: Fastest CPU I've owned for sure. The machine literally had no hiccups and booted up immediately after we put it together. I have yet to overclock, and can't really imagine why I would need to any time soon. It works flawlessly with the Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 motherboard. While technically the i7 series are faster, but you can hardly argue with the price point. It definitely provides enough performance. The 8 cores are a breeze for gaming and video rendering. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Cons: Runs fairly hot so I had to get a Coolermaster heatsink but I'm happy with that
I'm an AMD fanboy despite that they don't have the performance crown. Their prices are incredibly fair for the speed and I would prefer to support a business that follows a model ethics strategy. This CPU won't disappoint
