I bought this to replace my outdated Phenom x4 II 2.2ghz (am2+), my DDR2 ram slots died on my Motherboard, replacing the motherboard proved difficult since the am2+ socket is pretty old, needed an am3 socket CPU to run DDR3 ram on my motherboard so I upgraded to this processor, paid a little extra for the 12MB Cache but it was definitely worth it. Will still have to replace the motherboard at some point but it'll do for now until after the new year.

I don't do any modeling or rendering on my rig, just play games so AMD is the way to go I think, pointless forking out a fortune for Intel hyper threading. I did a bit of research to check the benchmarks on this processor and in general use and games it holds its own pretty well for it's price range.

Bought this as the heart of my new PC build, as my previous one, using an earlier AMD FX quad-core CPU had worked faultlessly for a number of years. My new rig has been running for a few months now and this seems to be doing a fine job so far.

for the price a good fast CPU, but want to get an AMD FX-8350 ASAP, brilliant CPU`s morse so if you match them up with decent RAM and a decent cooler, maybe a liquid one for the beafyier CPU...love it.

Absolute beast, so glad i got this processor over an intel i5. I got this for gaming and it hasnt let me down once, never dropping more than 2 frames (ish) in game, over an i5. Highly recommend for a £600-£700 pc build. Goes really well along side my GTX 750 ti

Bought this with an Asus M5A97 Evo 2.0 motherboard, and although I also attached a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo fan, the original one looks extremely proficient, so I have that as a back-up. Handles my few needs, live streaming Java, Office, music without breaking a sweat. Coupled with a Samsung 120GB SSD, it just rocks.Sweetest 5 Stars, ever.

This processor is still very good and efficient in the most demanding games. I can play The Witcher 3 and GTA V smoothly in 1080p with a GTX 970. Some people will say "bottleneck" ... yes. The FX 4350 is far behind a Core i7 but when you reach 60 FPS in average, you don't see the bottleneck. Cheap price, more performance than the others FX 4xxx (thanks to the larger cache and the cores running at 4.2 GHz).
It's still a good choice for gaming, specially to replace an old Phenom or the first generation of FX. In heavy multythreaded applications the FX 4350 is far behind the FX 6350 but when it comes to gaming, the FX 4350 is very close in term of performance.

Ok, so I'm a gamer on a budget and an AM3+ Motherboard and don't want to splash out too much cash on a new motherboard and CPU.
So i settled for this chip, which I must say is Brilliant.
If you're a gamer on a budget build, or limited to an AM3+ Motherboard, go for this chip, I mean with my GTX660ti I managed to get 80 - 120fps on Battlefield 3 on ultra, which I'm more than happy with.
I have this Watercooled with a Corsair H60 and only reaching 40C max temp underload.
Brilliant CPU for the price, very happy with it.
