This is a USB stick that accepts all kinds of memory cards and works perfectly. You can plug in a micro SD card on it's own, or use the SDHC adaptor card.
I ordered this little baby because I recently bought a 32gb micro SD card to replace my under sized 8gb micro SD card in my new Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phone. I wanted to transfer everything from the old memory card to the new larger memory card. I had no problems whatsoever, and I easily transferred all contacts, music, saved apps, including all other folders.
The way to do the transfer is:
Step 1: Take the old micro SD card (with all your files and stuff on it) and slot it into this AKORD USB adaptor, then plug into one of your computers or laptops USB ports.
Step 2: Take the new micro SD card with it's own included SDHC holder/adaptor and slot it into either the SDHC slot in your laptop or a different micro SD adaptor (You may need 2 AKORD adaptors so you can have 2 different micro SD cards interfacing with your computer at the same time). If using a Laptop there will probably be a slot somewhere that accepts the larger SDHC card with your micro SD plugged into that.
Step 3: Open both folders on your desktop one representing your old memory card (with your stuff on it), the other representing the new micro SD card which should be empty.
Step 4: Simply COPY everything from the old micro SD card and PASTE everything into the new micro SD card and your finished. If giving your old memory card to somebody else remember to wipe it clean first to remove all your data, otherwise keep all your data intact on your old card as a backup.Read more ›

This is a really nice compact reader you can plug in whenever you want. Reads all my cards, doesn't need any cables, what's not to like?Published 9 months ago by Eddie
Did not work. Would not appear as connected despite numerous attempts. When plugged in each time my computer anti virus flagged it which was suspicious.Published 11 months ago by Alexander Rayner
