Good sound (with good headphones and high quality file), but very poor battery life
6 February 2018
I bought this as an alternative to my Sony MP3 which became damaged, and the Sony alternatives were not expandable (8GB or 16GB), or were disproportionally expensive (over 200 GBP).
Overall the controls take some getting used to, it's not as easy to use like the Sony or Apple nano, however in terms of lower price, the sound quality isn't bad for the price. However I would have given it 3.5 or maybe 4 stars, but the battery life is appalling. You have to pause the music, then switch off the device to save the battery, otherwise you would only get 2-3 hours life out of it. Even when I am careful to minimise use, I have to charge it after 3-4 hours use. This doesn't make it practical to me. My Sony NW series I got days out of it. Not sure if I would buy again.
