Very Poor - Buyer beware!

A very cheap and tinny sounding 15/20w max product. The advertisement for this product is misleading. Advertised originally at 400w boomblaster now reduced to 40w boomblaster - was it originally a typo? I had to return the first item as the speaker did not work. I returned the second item as the product was so poor. It does say in the handbook that comes with the product that it is 400w - NEVER. I have noticed that similar looking boomblasters with very near identical spec are appearing on this site and the companies website, and all that seems to change is the name of the maker of the product. Stay away from this product and similar ones - cheap and nasty.

HAHAHAAHA 400 watts where it is more like 20 if your lucky so over rated by far .... i order this as it sounded great for the money but once i got it it was a big let down so packing it back to them and spending my money on a jvc or sony one which you can hear clear ........

Where do i start. I have a JVC BOOMBLASTER and it kicks ==++++
I purchased the AEG lookalike on its written spec and i,m no techy
but sounded good and looked good for price. A couple of weeks later my son opened this gift and we set it up. I was gob smacked and felt totally and utterly ripped off, i still cant believe it.The quality of sound for the size of the unit is POOR at the most and i am being really polite. It is not much louder than a portable player with satelite speakers (the small ones). On the plus side the build quality for price scores a 4/10... The item will not be accepted as a return because 10 working days have expired, a kick in the arse for planning and buying early. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I HAVE this item is overpriced and unfit for purpose. I could spend days jumping through hoops with my credit card company and consumer rights and description act but my life is busy enough,,i wonder how much they rely on that. Happy Cristmas....

For the price of this item i am left dissapointed! The so called 400 watt speakers are a joke. Very poor sound quality even with the Bass button pushed. Turn the volume up to loud and the sound is muffled! for the price this is a very poor product indeed. Spend your money else where! Shame on you AEG!

A JVC lookalike, but in no way soundalike!!!

I agree with all the other reviews, this item is AEG's attempt to more or less copy the mighty JVC RV-NB series Boomboxes (which are incredible and much sought after).... The sound quality is extremely poor in comparison. Yes, it may be cheap, but believe you me it's nowhere near the quality sound of the JVC's...... My opinion - Save your pennies for a JVC....

Wasn't sure whether to expect much from this product as it was less than £100. But to my surprise, the quality and performance is very good. Having tape, radio and CD player as well as an aux input is a plus. Volume goes to a great level without losing alot of quality. Exacty what I was looking for and for a great price.
