I was disappointed in this book, but I have read a number of books having a grandson with ADHD, as yet undiagnosed. IF this is the first book you read it would be helpful and informative though quite brief.

We hear so much about ADHD and how much it is misdiagnosed and mistreated, but in reality, ADHD is a serious condition. ADHD not only affects those that are diagnosed with it but their parents, siblings, and those living with them. This book has so much great information about symptoms, behaviors, treatments, and even how to parent a child with ADHD that I believe this is an excellent resource for anyone dealing with this situation in their life.

To be honest when I got it it didn't really tell me anything that I didn't already know. I was quite disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Useful Book! 28 April 2014
By Michael S. - Published on Amazon.com

I found this book to be very helpful and informative. The author did a very good job about covering the vital statistics about ADHD and who is affected by it. The book talks extensively about the symptoms of this disorder. It definitely does not have any known cause. The author also covers in detail the medicines and treatment methods for the disorder. A little of this information I knew about, but most of it I did not. This book was definitely an eye opener. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about ADHD. A Great and easy read!

By MGM - Published on Amazon.com

I've had ADHD my whole life and entering my adult life it didnt go away. The interesting thing is that I can see many of the things listed in this book has relatable to myself. My parents put me on medications such as Adderall which had some positive effects, but I didn't like taking medications because it affected my personality. Therefore I was look for or wanted to find out strategies to address it naturally I read but in many instances. And I ready some of the strategies in this book, which I have found helpful throughout my life.
