Really useful and effective ear protection - have used this any time I went to a club with friends and it helps lessen the music (while not dampening it or making it sound muffled) while also making it actually easier to hear what people are saying (it doesn't seem to reduce people's voices as much).

They're relatively discreet. The ends are white so depending on how deep you can seat them they can be seen, but I've not gotten any comments, except for friends who know about my use of them and chuckle each time.

It's great at the end of the night to be able to take them out and not have the dulled hearing or tinnitus and makes going out far more enjoyable for it

Great plugs, helped me a lot in band practice

Great earplugs, I got them for band practice which we have a in a small room and due to the awkward layout combined with ‘feedback’ dodging I usually end up with the guitarist and drummer two feet away on my left and the PA speaker on my right. As such I was struggling to find a good monitoring balance.

Got these after my singing teacher suggested earplugs and so far I’ve been pretty impressed. Takes a bit of getting used to but I’ve found I can hear myself much better and they are pretty comfortable to wear for long periods (couple of hours). Also have the added bonus of not having ringing in my ears when I leave.

Case is quite a good design, although it took me a moment to work out how to open it (squeeze short edges together).

Solid, pliable and efficient

I had the bigger size which wasn’t being held in place. I’m glad I lost one of the pairs of bigger size, as I bought this smaller size which fits my small ear canal perfectly.
The plastic may be a bit tough but after a while you get used to them – I guess they get warmed up and more malleable as you wear them.
I had them for a year and a half now and find they work really well. I use them to learn the flute. I’m so glad to be able to protect my ears with this small size, as they reduce the noise of the harsh high register, yet if the noise is attenuated, the quality of the tone is not impeded.
These earplugs stay in place, but are easily removable because the stem is of a good size ( 3cm in length).
The stem sticks out of the ear, but as these are transparent they are not too noticeable; the advantage of the longer stem is that you can easily remove the earplug, unlike some other brands which have tiny little stems. These earplugs can be fitted easily in with a twist, no need for tweezers of any kind to put them in or take them out.
They are solid, but soft enough to be able to twist them in the ears.
I think they are invaluable and a good make. I highly recommend them.

Reviews for this type of product are always going to be highly subjective but if you read enough of them you may get good overview. So, my situation is that I’m a drummer and I wanted earplugs to use while rehearsing with rock bands in studios and when playing live. Essentially the goal would be to just “turn down the volume” without making things sound muffled. I’ve tried several earplugs; from the generic foam type to some others that claim to do retain a natural sound. My conclusions are that you need something to cut the volume by around 18dB - any more and it’s too much. Most earplugs seem to cut too much of the high frequencies which make it hard to follow vocals and guitar. Also, by degrading the overall balance of the sound you end up with a rather unsatisfactory listening experience which defeats the object of creating live music.
I’m happy to say, these are easily the best ones I’ve tried. They fit well (although to be fair, I’ve never had problems with in-ear headphones or other ear plugs), reduce the volume while allowing me to hear all my band mates really well. They may not be perfect; the frequency response isn’t totally flat but they’re good enough. They also stick out quite a bit but it does mean you don’t end up having to use pliers to remove them.
For the price they’re at least worth a punt.

I found the normal size to be much too long for my ears - they stuck out through my long hair! These are a much better size for me (5'4" female with small ears). I wear these to the cinema as I find most films far too loud. With these earplugs in, it dulls the loud noises (explosions, gunfire etc) but you can still hear the talking very clearly. I've always been able to hear all films clearly with these on so it always surprises me how painfully loud the films sound if I take them out!! I've been to a few live music concerts wearing the earplugs and they're equally effective and your enjoyment of the music isn't dulled like it would be with foam or wax earplugs. I always keep them in my handbag now so I can put them in anywhere too loud.

Great earplugs for a variety of uses

Without these earplugs my tinnitus would be so much worse. Anything from band practices, concerts or inside your motorcycle helmet.

When at concerts (normally rock/heavy metal) I find these earplugs cut out a fair amount of distortion from the amplifiers which can actually provide you with a bit more clarity to other areas of the music.

If you’re wearing these in your motorcycle helmet then you need to be much more aware of your surroundings as they will comprimise what little you could already hear through your helmet.
