About the Author

This book was inspired by three different people. First I read the book 1421 by Gavin Menzies, which expanded my thoughts on early exploration of our planet. Second was an article by Marc Kaufman in Washington Post in 2006, about new Space Defence program in the United States. A quote is used with permission in the paperback. Third was an article that I can't really tell you about here, as it gives away a crucial plot point. After much hard work, here is The 5th Amulet. I hope you enjoy reading my first book as much as I did creating it. You are not familiar with my work or my name I understand. Best advice I can give you is simple, use the look inside option, see if you like it. 'The 5th Amulet' available in paperback and on kindle. It is enrolled in the Kindle Matchbook more information here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/digital/ep-landing-page You can also visit http://www.facebook.com/sjhaileyauthor for more information.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good plot - poor writing. 7 April 2013
By Tracy L Schubel - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The plot is terrific. However, the writing is disjointed with misused words and poor transitions between scenes. If you get this book be prepared to reread sections throughout to figure out what the author was trying to say.
