About the Author

Since retiring as an English teacher, due to ill health, Bob MacCallum has had the time to write about Rangers - an inseparable part of his life since childhood. He has supported the club for over 54 years now and still gets as excited about going to a match as he did when Jim Baxter and Willie Henderson were playing at the time when he started going to games at Ibrox. Since then he has seen many Rangers' legends contributing to the success of the club. He is a season ticket holder as well as a shareholder in the club.

Just finished Bob's book and found it to be an enjoyable read, his love of Rangers and life is clear to see in the pages. Well worth a read by any Rangers fan - as are his other books.
It's great to see these kind of books finally emerging, showing the club in a more positive light. Well done Bob!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It relives the authors life from the 60's onwards as a Rangers fan. I couldn't put it down. It brought back a lot of memories of my own childhood in Glasgow and Rangers games and players. Well worth a read.

I enjoyed the book very much as it partially mirrors my own life following Rangers. It brought back memories of many games not just those in Bob's book.

A great read for any football fan. Captures the spirit of being a fan of a club that becomes part of you. Ignore the one star review, obviously a bigot who believes all Rangers fans are 'evil'.
