I often buy c.ds in bootsales and charity shops. They are often 25p or 50p,this allows me to experiment. If it turns out to be crap, I can donate them.Part of my,anal, pleasure is to check out the reviews on Amazon.Sometimes artists and bands I have never heard of have several revues. However, what I find rather annoying is often the"reviewer"gives an average album 5 stars and gushes with enthusiasm."Brilliant" and "must buy" is often used. When albums, books and films get 5 stars it usually means they are classics'not just ok or better than average
