I decided to rate this as a two-star purely because of the formatting. The content was superb, and on content alone would have received a five star rating. It is only the content that stopped me from giving it a one-star - and had a no-star rating been available, I would have give it one of those.
The formatting is awful - truly abysmal. One poem was presented in one block of text, with not even a space to denote an end of line, I had to guess where the line ending was meant to be. Other poems were spaced too far apart, with what looked like a double line spacing between each line of poetry. I've never known one book have both extremes of bad formatting, but this does - and I'd advise anybody interested in reading it to think again.

A useless volume which mashes Lovecraft's verse into unreadable semi-prose. No effort has been made to marry the poems' formats to the Kindle screen, so this is a total waste of its cost and VAT.

HASH(0x9470421c) out of 5 stars Terrible Formatting for Great Poetry 11 Dec. 2015

This is by no means a rating of the actual poetry. I have not had a chance to dig into the poetry yet, mostly because of the reasons for my low score. This book is horribly formatted. The very first poem in the book, An American To Mother England, is displayed as a giant block of text, completely ignoring the line breaks that should be in the poem. In fact, the words at each side of an intended line break are mashed together likethis making it very difficult to read. Not every poem is like this, some of them look great, and others still have other formatting issues. If you're going to sell open domain content at least put some effort into it.

Some real gems here. I've spent years looking for these. Many of the books I did find were prohibitively costly. Be aware that not all of these poems belong to the weird genre. Many are simply poems written by H.P. Lovecraft.
