A must for any student of computer science or software development.
Way back I started with 'C The Complete Reference' then followed on to 'C++ The Complete Reference' when it came out. I now find that 'C# The Complete Reference' is similarly good. As most other reviewers on Amazon say, it's well written and structured in a style that is helpful and easy to follow.
The C# environment, especially the .NET framework, and how it all fits together is a huge area and is not covered in much detail in this book but if you want to learn the C# language itself and get an introduction to the most commonly used parts of the C# Library this book is the best choice and is highly recommended.
