HASH(0x9329754c) out of 5 stars Short but very informative 14 Mar. 2014

The author explains the history of 3D printing & I was quite surprised to learn it has been around far longer than I thought.

If I had one complaint it would be that the book tended to be a tiny bit repetitive but that could be fixed with some editing.

All in all, it's a good read for anyone interested in this new (not really) fangled technology.

HASH(0x932972f4) out of 5 stars Great for Newbees 25 Mar. 2014

The book was offered as a free ebook. I found the book to be an easy read with enough 3D jargon to help me exploring the subject further. I would have liked some more links to external sources. The coverage of leading 3D printers was helpful, but no price range or external links was given. For a 30 min intro into the subject well worth the time.

I found this book to be very interesting. This book would be appropriate for anyone wanting a non-technical explanation of 3D printing.

HASH(0x93297450) out of 5 stars Not a bad intro to the subject 27 Mar. 2015

Not a bad intro to the subject, although the technology seems to be moving so fast that it is probably out of date already. Easy to read and understand.
