Place an order for this ssd a week ago because I wanted to upgrade my business ultra-book Dell Latitude 430 core 2 duo 1.2, 2 GB RAM which I bought a month ago almost for free. After anxious 6 days waiting (package was sent with royal mail air mail - no tracking) I was informed that my ssd is waiting for me at local PO. First of all I must inform you that product picture is wrong. If you search Runcore site with product number found in description, you will find correct picture (black case with blue text on it). Everything was in the box: ssd, screws, usb cable, zif-usb case, 2 stickers, screwdriver. I replaced the laptop hdd (80 GB Samsung) with this ssd. For this ultra-book you must extract the hdd from his rubber protection case. You must use the rubber case on ssd (for the ssd to sit firmly in laptop).
And now the real test: power on ! Man, I was shocked of overall speed of my ultra-book. Speed difference? Between an mule and a racing horse. Windows 8 boot time is 7 seconds. Programs opens instantly (ex.Office 2013 programs -in 3 seconds). I never believed that I will be able to run latest software on this ultra-book mule. Sleep mode/wake is almost instantly and with no more rattling sound from hdd. Shut down/start up is lightning fast and battery-life is 20 min longer. SSD's worth every pound you pay for. Now I'm using old hdd, enclosed in usb adapter case, as an DVR for my latest SMART TV and as external storage for music, movies, etc. I advise: don't throw your money on new laptop, buy an fast 32/64gb ssd instead, run OS from it and use large capacity hdd as mass storage.

A smaller capacity than the HDD it had originally, but it does the job perfectly. Requires some time to transfer the O/S - in the end, I decided to re-install Win7 anyway (just to make sure that the SSD features where enabled properly in the O/S). Boots quickly ~51 secs, as compared to almost 2 mins for the HDD. I also had to use the rubber drive enclosure which came with the HDD in order to stop the SSD from rattling inside the drive bay. Now gives me a "tablet" experience with a keyboard and mouse ;-)

I'm very satisfied with these SSD 1.8 inches disk. Fast Delivery and good package. It was included a 1,8 inches HDD USB 2 case.The photo of the product isn't the same with the package I received. It doesn't matter. It contains what product description says. I replaced a 1,8 inch HDD with this SSD and my Windows 7 Archos 9 tablet is faster and completely noiseless. It was an excellent decision.

Great service, arrived direct from LA in few days.
Used to replace failed 1.3 PATA drive in my ACER Aspire One (ZG5).
The product has been running for a month now and seems very good; I am 100% satisfied with the result.
RunCore support were very good too!

In case anyone else reads this trying to do the same thing, I could NOT get the Acer to recognize the SSD when connected via the ZIF cable (the IDE connx on the little Acer). I came to the conclusion that this was simply because the drive was too fast for the BIOS (which I also flashed to the latest level).
So the inclusion of the USB carrier was a blessing!
I used the (fortunately very small) IC from the USB case and connected (soldered) a mini-USB cable to the back of one of the USB ports on the Acer's daughter-board.

Now working great with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (I also added a memory expansion to 1.5Gb).
