Great for a Teacher

I bought this set over 5 years ago and it has been a life saver. I am a teacher and use it in my classroom when I have an extra 5 minutes here and there. The students LOVE these mysteries and they are so quick to solve. The best part is that students who don't normally shine in my math class are really good at these problem solving word puzzles and it really gives them a sense of pride when they get one right. They just beg me to get them out. Also many answers are people in history which allows me to open up the discussion to some important people from our past and creates a real learning opportunity. I have used it with students from 6th grade up to 12th grade and they all love it. My family also loves to do these at the bonfire when we go camping during the summer months.
Nice break from the norm for my students

This book is a life saver when you have at least five minutes left in a class period after a lesson. My junior high students loved these books. It encourages critical thinking which helps them when problem solving in my math class. These books teach them to think outside of the box :)

We have a great time with these books in the car. A fun time for the whole family on short or long car rides. A wonderful alternative to watching DVD's because of the thinking and interaction it involves.
