The codes are an error, they are only valid if you trade in current gen version of the same game, just received a message from Amazon saying this

Yeah we all know it's an error. CS were telling everyone that it was fine, here have BF4 on us!

CS can't get information right ever LOL!

I got this as well, it is a mistake by Amazon. Just got off the phone to them, this is the EA sanctioned deal where you can trade up a current gen EA game for £10 to a next gen game. I just happen to order fifa.

Sorry

@shanks:

Yeah that's the obvious thing to do, but I will have to pay the return cost. I wouldn't risk sending something worth £50 back standard post; if it goes missing it's my loss.

I may consider playing it for a while then ebaying it; it will hold a decent price for a while.

PSN: k1NAAA says:
There is no return cost, drop it off at your local shop that offers Collect+

Edit: They scan it when you're in the shop so if it goes missing from there it's not your fault :-)

I think admitting you're going to sell them on a forum hosted by the company you're essentially ripping off speaks volumes about whether it's true or not...

Hello,

Due to a system error, you may have mistakenly been sent an e-mail in which you were told that you qualified for a promotional voucher for GBP 22.00, valid for ordering selected video games.

We're sorry but you're not eligible for this promotion.

We apologise for this error and any inconvenience it may have caused.

We hope to see you again soon.

Regards

Customer Service Department

Absolutely nothing to do with fifa 14, I rest my case

N. Harman says:
We all agreed it seemed to be an error. But one that was triggered by the shipping of fifa. You really are very simple.

Just got my £44 refund on AC4 Black Flag!
Props too Amazon for honouring this.

Bring on PS4!

Hi,

I'm not entirely sure what your issue with me is. You were presented with sufficient enough evidence to substantiate my claims that the purchase/shipping of FIFA triggered this system glitch. I'd rather you not attempt to ridicule me on a public forum because you received a generic email sent out from Amazon. If you would like to continue this debate, in anticipation it may get quite heated, I am more than happy to exchange email addresses and do it this way. If not, then we'll call an end to the subject here.

Thanks

FIFA was 100% the trigger (for me anyway, I only had FIFA and Killzone pre-ordered).

Oh so now you preparing to organise some kind of violence via email, You were the one trying to ridicule me, and now you want a fight. Really think about it, seriously.

Where have I mentioned I want a fight or insinuated I intend to be 'violent'? Your comment was meant to ridicule my opinion and was uncalled for in the circumstances. I've offered to continue our conversation via email and not on a public forum. There is no threat of provocation or violence within that statement.

Stop deleting your posts, it only serves to make you look quite foolish

Michael says:
Go back and read your comments that you directed to me they are insinuating condescending and point towards that i have a failure to understand,ie thick, mentally deficient. And why because I dared to have an opinion different to yours

Why would I want to exchange emails with you, and indeed why would you want to with me if not for the reason to insult me further. You went trawling through my post in an effect to justify your rage.

I suggest this ends now

S. MCGOUGAN says:
I suggest on each others posts you click on 'ignore this customer' as its getting quite pathetic. Fifa was the trigger, and some people have received emails saying it was an error, some havent. Deal with it like adults and move on.

L. McMahon says:
so for those that succsessfully orderd BF4 for £3.00 will it be honoured by amazon?

normal rule of law in the uk is if a price advertised is incorrect the seller must honour that price which has been displayed.

just wish to know where amazon stand on this matter?

My BF4 just dispatched and my invoice order has charged me only £3.00. Seems Amazon have honoured their 'mistake' for those lucky enough to take advantage of it.

Anyone else have the same?
