When I was preaching through Jonah and Obadiah a few months ago this was one of the commentaries I used and it proved to be very useful. It certainly gives a very clear explanation of the text and any translation difficulties are picked up and explained very adequately. It is not particularly heavy weight or academic and I don't mean that as a criticism because that suits this Pastor down to the ground! Readable and very relevant is what it sets out to be it certainly succeeds. This coupled with the fact that it is reasonably priced for a commentary this size means that it is well worth while taking a look at it if you are preaching of preparing Bible studies on any of these minor prophets.
