Product Description

Love him, hate him... you don't know him 2016: Obama's America takes audiences on a gripping visual journey into the heart of the world's most powerful office, to reveal the struggle of whether one man's past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?" In 2008, people in America - and across the globe - hungered for a leader who would unite us and lift us out of economic turmoil and war. True to America's ideals, we invested our hopes in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What we didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways the past defines him - who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world. Immersed in exotic locales across four continents, best-selling author Dinesh D'Souza races against time to find answers to Obama's past and reveal where America will be in 2016. During this journey, he discovers how "Hope" and "Change" became radically misunderstood, and identifies new flashpoints for hot wars in mankind's greatest struggle. The journey moves quickly over the arc of the old colonial empires and into America's empire of liberty, and we see the unfolding realignment of nations, as well as the shape of the global future. Emotionally engaging, 2016: Obama's America will both confound you and make you cheer as you discover the mysteries and answers to your greatest aspirations and worst fears. Love him, hate him... you don't know him!

What is motivating Obama? The producer taies everyone's problem of developing a personal identity. The video focuses upon Obama precarious relationship to his father and ultimately to Africa. The presentation makes sense of Obama's behavior, but has not (for me) revealed the secret of secrets of what is pushing Obama (and Obama may not know). Nevertheless, the presentation is a worthy approach.

Only history will judge this man and his presidency. This is a helpful film (I note that its author Mr D'Souza is currently being hounded over alleged tax fraud by the government. Wow. theres a coincidence. )

I was excited like everyone else when he was elected. Now I think he is a catastrophy for both the US and the world.

Upon reflection we see that he was only successful due to inverted racism. If he had been seen as white he wouldnt have won.(and why - while we are on the subject - is he black not white? he has a white mother and an african father.he could equally well say he was white surely? No?? why not? im confused.... we really do need to get past this outmoded thinking people )

Its also rather worrying that he sailed so rapidly to power in the most politically corrupt state in the union.
Now of course he might have been so pure and talented that his rise was unstoppable by his appeal direct to the voter. Or he might just be the most rapacious gator in the swamp.

Then there is his desire to turn the US when it is bankrupt into a socialist state like the UK under "old" labour in the 60s and 70s.

Its clearly not evidence based (see whats happened to the british economy due to a resolute determination to spend money we dont have on benefits which promote infantilism, learned helplessness and the most over exaggerated sense of entitlement in the history of the world. All paid for by loans from China and islamofascists. oo er. will be intersting to see how this all pans out... if only I could do it from Canada. but I digress....) its obvious he is a marxian, if not a marxist. The diagnosis is wrong doctor Obama, so your treatment will not only fail it may kill the patient.

A very naive and pathetic view of Obama's America and the World from the producer. Frankly its primary school material. If you are after a deep understanding of Obama and the US economy id suggest looking elsewhere. My suggestion is to :Move on nothing to see here.

Obama is set on destroying the west and it totally shows it in this documentary - which is very well produced.

yeah , the last five years seem like the twilight zone you had a cousin of George W Bush come from nowhere with charm , charisma , brown , white skin with no real record to run on and only fox news and a couple of radio show hosts publicly question him while he ran against his other cousin MC Cain (on his moms side , cousin ) . They were branded racists , even the blacks who questioned him as bible thumping , rich extremists selling out to their race . Obama got more bank support than Mc Cain and Romney despite running on an anti 1% premise and redistribution of wealth which sounded good to the rising Michael Moore decedent types on drugs , GMO`s and fluoride and rap music in US .This has not worked with rising food stamps , and rising wealth of the 1% . Dinesh looked into his background and questioned it and used his own words to do it , but sadly most sheeple who voted obama 2012 were more interested in what he said vs what he has done and never questioned info that is available about him and know nothing about him other than the two accents he puts on and that its the republicans fault etc . Sadly MR D `Souza is now paying for this documentary and the pro American one he has just done which destroys the American hating left arguments and rhetoric .

Dinesh D'Souza opens the film as an ego fest comparing himself to Obama, claiming they are both "mixed race." He discusses his debate with Jesse Jackson where our author agrees with Jesse that "racism is a reality." D'Souza claims he is a black man just like Jesse Jackson because when they both hold up their hands, the inside of the palms looks the same. I mean seriously, the guy shows two palms side by side in the film. Wasn't anyone else laughing at this point?

His impression of Reagan was that he was "not that serious of a guy."

He claims Obama was born in Hawaii, perhaps as an attempt to look factual. D'Souza plays clips of conservative pundits claiming they don't know anything about Obama, followed five minutes later by revealing important things about Obama, in his own words, from his autobiography that would have been available to said conservative pundits. I guess "truthiness" is what counts.

The film mentions that the first act of Obama was to return the Churchill bust. The original Churchill bust remained on display in the residence outside the Treaty Room and is still there as of this writing. The confusion is described by Factcheck: "The White House has had a bust of Winston Churchill since the 1960's. At the start of the Bush administration Prime Minister Blair lent President Bush a bust that matched the one in the White House, which was being worked on at the time and was later returned to the residence. The version lent by Prime Minister Blair was displayed by President Bush until the end of his Presidency. On January 20, 2009 -- Inauguration Day -- all of the art lent specifically for President Bush's Oval Office was removed by the curator's office, as is common practice at the end of every presidency.
