It's very easy to fit and can be easily taken off for the weekend club run. It is small - so don't expect to be able to take your shirts into work - but it is spot on for carrying in lunch and, ahem, smalls.
There is a tag on the bag for a rear light, but a light just can't be clipped on as it will bounce off. So either a secure fitting light is needed or you'll need to go for a light that fits to the seat stay.
In summary, if you want something for carrying the daily essentials that you can fit to the bike and forget about - this is the product for you.
I've only give 4 rather than the 5 stars I intended to give this product, because on 1 small niggle. The product is advertised as holding 6 litres. No way is this 6 litres. Doubt it holds even 2 litres. 6 litres is 3 of those large coke bottles, and this is massively less than that. Also, there is a strut across the inside of the pack, meaning the inside space is actually less usable than you would think from the outside
Size-wise, it is long enough to fit a stumpy bike pump, which is good. In mine, I have a bike pump, and a rain mac, and a spare bike light. That fills up the main compartment. In one side pocket I have a small bike toolkit, an inner tube, and a pair of pliers, and in the other side pocket I cram my wallet, keys and phone. That is then bursting full... Not exactly 6 litres...
That said, I am delighted with the pack. Being small it makes you be disciplined with what you carry, (there's a 3 kg limit for the pack, but unless you are carrying lead, or gold bars, there isn't space to exceed 3kg so far as I can see.
The size is a factor though, as I also need to take a change of clothes in to the office, and so I have purchase the Altura Night Vision post pack, which has the same great frame as this one, but another 4 litres of space, (which I expect means probably another 1 litre of space.
I will carry on using the pack in this review, as it is streamlined, light, and nicely designed, but I do think they should be careful with how they describe its size.
The first one lasted about a year and half, the other just over a year. Altura do not supply just the metal, so thinking it was a one-off I bought a second. I ride on London streets on a road-bike - so it's not being shaken about insanely and the weight is usually my waterproofs and spare fluids lights and / parts. The design and quality of the bag itself is excellent, but I don't fancy buying a third now because I suspect it'll also snap.
Very happy with this purchase.
