What can you say about a simple device like this? It is bright to attract your attention which is it's sole purpose in life. It has a good cord for sliding over the the handlebar grip. There is a good size solid ring for fitting to the U lock, as in my case. The price is stupidly low. Does it have a downside? Yes! In very cold weather, the coil stays extended. Warm it up and it recoils to its former short length. Would this stop you buying one? Not at this price.....

Simple, effective and cheap, a far better alternative than looking up at the sky feeling very very silly for not taking the wheel lock off (er, so a "friend" told me).

After hearing what happens occasionally when you try to pull away without removing your disc-lock, I thought I'd get one of these. Works an absolute treat, as it's virtually impossible to ignore. Well made, and exactly what it should be. As an extra precaution, I *always* put my disc-lock immediately behind/under the brake caliper, so no forward roll is possible.

This is a simple product, but extremely effective. It's sole purpose is to remind you that you have a disc lock fitted to the front wheel. One end attaches to the disc lock, the other end attaches to your right handlebar to give you an easy visual indication that your lock is still fitted before you try riding away. It will fit many types of disc lock, so is extremely versatile. The way the coil retracts, ensures that it fits in your pocket easily, without taking up too much room. For the sake of just a few £££'s, you can rest assured that you're not going to look like a prat & ride off with your lock still fitted ;)
The only thing to bear in mind with these items is that they don't last forever. My last one lasted about 2 years. The summer sunshine & the winter frosts take their toll on the plastic. They will become brittle after a while, especially if it's fitted & removed a lot (this is the way that this type of plastic works unfortunately). Having said that, less than £3 for 2 - 3 years use is still good value - and you may get a longer service out of it if you don't use it as much (eg: you only use it at your journey's end & have a garage at home, so don't need your disc lock).

Bought this to use with my dinky disc lock, and it srves as a very visible reminder that the disc lock is still on the bike as it connects the lock to the brake lever. Highly recommended.

A professional way to remember that your disc lock is still fixed, nothing worse than being "VERY" cool, climbing on the bike and coming a cropper because the lock is still fitted.....very "uncool"
