I have to say I'm really impressed with this. As someone with a real soft spot for 101 squadron this is fascinating. The level of detail in it is incredible. At just under 300 A4 pages this is no brief overview and it really should have something to interest everyone, with details month by month of 101 squadron's operations complemented by details of individual aircraft and crews. A useful Appendix on the end details all aircraft operated by the squadron and fates where known. If you're wanting a general history of Bomber Command or just some light break time reading this probably isn't for you, but I can't imagine a more comprehensive account of a squadron at war.
