Xanthe Clay's recipes are clear and concise, and everything I have tried so far has taken me about 10 minutes - a boon when you are working or do not have the time or the energy to do something that takes longer. The recipes are tasty and varied.

Most of the recipes are for 2 people, it would have been good to have ones for families but maybe that is a future book in the offing! However, I felt happy to double the ingredients when needed and so far that has worked with no complaints from the family. As I have a sweet tooth I would have liked the book to include some sweet treats, the only thing I felt was missing from this otherwise good book.

I was very impressed by this book. For people who go out to work all day and then come home and have to cook an evening meal this is a MUST. The meals are appetising and easy using only fresh wholesome ingredients and no cheating. Although I am retired and am no longer in paid employment I've been using the recipes and cooking is an absolute doddle. I have already recommended the book to several working Mums.

There are some really good looking recipes in this book. I've tried a couple already and they're easy to do but not really in 10 minutes. I guess the author has done them over and over again and doesn't refer to the recipe every few steps. Still, very handy and I will be using the book regularly.

I think recipes will take me more than 10 mins but that's ok! They all look good and a bit different.

Just sort the ingredients .......... follow the instructions to the letter - and low and behold you have a fantastic finished meal - maybe not quite ten minutes, but near enough! which will impress anyone. A must for everyone!

The dishes are all pretty much all ready in 10 minutes, but the main positive is that the cook directions are clear, easy to follow and all the ingredients are readily available. Just as an extra, the dishes are varied and once you get the hang of one, you can then mix and match others or come up with your own ideas. In that respect this book gives you the confidence to want to try your own ideas. An excellent book for the kitchen wary or for those who really do only have 10 minutes to prepare meals.
