I ordered this book after seeing Goldie Hawn on the One Show talking about it. It sounded fascinating stuff. The book arrived quickly and I am now about a third of the way through it. It is a really interesting book. It explains about what prompted Ms Hawn to start her foundation and about the basics of how the brain works and why we do certain things and react in certain ways.
I'm just getting to the nitty gritty of what the exercises are that you do each day. These are the bits I'm interested in and can then hopefully use with my children at school.
I would say this is a should read for any parent with small children and any teacher specifically Primary school teachers like myself.

This book holds some excellent information on parenting, after reading this book I have passed it down to some friends of mine and it has really helped them and their family through some difficult times. This book is exactly what it is says a way for a healthier and happier life!! Another great book that is just as helpful and well written that I highly recommend is Developing Children's Emotional Intelligence (Continuum Education)
