(Martyn) Lindsey Green is a sculptor, writer, coach and graphic artist living in Totnes in South Devon. He has been passionate about the sea all his life with a deep fascination inspired by his love of angling. As a qualified Angling Trust Level 2 tridiscipline coach, he has done much to promote conservation and greater awareness of both the beauty and diversity of the UK marine environment.
Lindsey has written several books on fishing, including three titles before joining Kindle. These were ‘The Challenge of Shore Angling’, ‘The Challenge of Wreck Fishing’ and ‘The Challenge of Light Tackle’. More recently he has added five Kindle titles to the range, including his first children’s books, ‘A Matter of Life and Breath’ and 'The Day the Stranger Smiled'.
A former teacher, his stories became a firm favourite with the hundreds of children that he entertained in his assemblies. One character in particular – Lenny the Lobster – is the central character in the Rockwater Series that he is currently developing. As with all his books and articles, Lindsey does all his own illustrations.
In addition to this fiction series, which will include fun activities that double as teaching resources intended for topic work upon the seashore, Lindsey is currently working on a Light Rock Fishing book and a tridiscipline book on the subject of fly fishing.
