My name is Wiiliam Baker. I'm in my 'third age' of writing, and now that I have time to devote to it I'm hooked again. I've just become a landlubber again after 7 years living on a narrowboat on a canal in Staffordshire and I now live on the Northumberland East Coast in what was dubbed a long while ago 'The Forgotten Country.' So beautiful. So quiet. Lindisfarne and Hadrian's Wall are nearby. I've written novels, short stories and poems, and I guess I'm a fantasy/sci fi/cyberpunk writer at heart but I've also recently written a crime thriller novel waiting final editing. I've loaded three volumes of shorts onto Kindle: 'Something Old, Something New,' and'The Maine Coon and other Cat's Tales' and "Wishing your life away."
