Penny Luker is a former Cheshire head teacher and associate university lecturer. She is currently studying Fine Art and enjoys playing music, but her main love is writing. She is a member of the Winsford Writing Group.
She has written books in a number of genre:
'The Truth Finder' a young adult fantasy book, is about Earth in the fifth millennium. It is about a young man who can read minds, but his gift is a double edged sword.
She has also written three children's chapter books, 'The Green Book', 'Tiny Tyrannosaurus' and 'Pablo the Storytelling Bear'. These are great for bedtime stories, either to be read by the parent or the child. They would also be good for school assemblies.
Desdemona the Dragon Without Any Friends is a children's picture book and tells a story of a lonely dragon who discovers that friends don't actually have to look like you.
'The Mermaid' is a book of short stories for adults and includes a prize winning story (third place) from the Chudleigh Phoenix Writing competition. 'Pebble on a Beach', (blue cover) is a recently revised book of short stories and more short stories are due to be published in 2018.
Penny loves writing poetry and has published 'Nature's Gold' and Autumn Gold, both poetry anthologies. 'The Shadows of Love' explores the consequences of love and is a poetry book due out soon.
Penny was the former writing's editor for an e-zine (All Things Girl - now closed for entries) and she has her own website www.pennyluker.wordpress.com
She loves hearing from readers.
