My camera loves these - it gobbles them up!

I bought one of the 16GB Cards in January for my Canon IXUS 310 HS Camera. I thought it would last me for some time being four times the size of those I use in my Vivitar DVR 565HD Camera. Sadly not. So I bought three more; one is in my Canon and the other two hold my books, music, photos and videos that I view on my Binatone READMEMOBILE Android Tablet E-Reader.

I have used every function (recording, copying, deleting,...) and so far all four Cards work perfectly. I have many Transcend Flash Cards and USB Flash Drives and once again it has proved to be a reliable brand.

With regard to the size of 16GB, as a four minute MOV movie from my Canon uses about 1GB of space compared to about 120MB for the same length High Definition AVI from my Vivitar, my next purchase will probably be a 32GB one to save some swapping. I will of course buy a Transcend one, or two, or three...

Wasn't it a Rock and Roll musician who said "I always turn my amp up to 11" when the volume only went to 10?
I have used Transcend Memory cards before and not had a problem with them. I read somewhere that these were one of the few that are never faked.
As the description says, Frustration Free, inside the Amazon envelope was a Transend envelope and inside that was the plastic case with the memory card in, much better than trying to wrestle open the normal bonded packaging.
The card is of class 10 which is the second fastest data transfer card currently available and is capable of transfer speeds up to 10mb per second. Apparently this makes them suitable for full HD recording and consecutive HD Video. As it will be used in a Nikon D800 DSLR which has a 36mb picture size and is capable of video this class should be ideal.
The card has a small switch to enable you to lock the card and prevent overwriting of data if you are swapping cards when full before downloading; I'm not sure if all SD cards are like this as this is the first digital item I have that uses SD.
This item must have been delivered by Amazon as I recieved an email an hour after it was posted through the letterbox saying I wasn't home so they left it somewhere safe! I was home all the time and nobody rang the bell, but at least it was able to be put thropugh the letterbox.
It was also delivered next day.

Excellent value SDHC Class 10 memory cards

I use multiple Transcend SD and SDHC and SDXC memory cards in various sizes 2, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB with my Sony SLT 33 camera system, Road Hawk Pro II Mobile CCTV with sensors and with several versions of microprocessors and projects I am using. Transcend memory is second to none and I personally recommend their Class 10 memory range, in 5 years of heavy use and taking literally thousands of high definition images and video I have not had a fault with any of these memory cards.

These memory cards are excellent value for money and good quality backed up by the manufacturers guarantee

I have used several makes of SDHC cards in conjunction with my EOS 550D camera and have to say that I have found the Transcend units to be more reliable than any others at this price range. The nearest equivalent cards to these price-wise are the Integral cards and I have found them to be very Card Reader sensitive when downloading to my Mac.
I use them mostly in my 550D for shooting video and in my Zoom H4N for sound and they appear to be pretty reliable.
I have had a couple of camera buffer issues but this tends to be when the card is almost full but compared to an Integral I bought (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Integral-SDHC-Class-Memory-Card/dp/B0047T6XME/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1334491811&sr=1-2) it works nicely! The integral is supposed to be up to 20mb transfer rate but I can't help thinking that the 'up to' part of the Integral cards is the tell tale wording there.
Transcend's are better in my experience for the video work I use them for.

I ordered this item Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC card for use with a recently purchased Canon 1100D digital SLR camera .I would describe my self as a hobbyist . Reviewing the various products available on the market ,I concluded that a 16GB Class 10 SDHC would be the ideal spec for my camera because of the capacity and the write speeds possible . As I use the burst capability on my camera ,the write speed I considered as important as the actual capacity .
Having recently been on a weeks holiday I have had the opportunity to test my camera with the Transcend SDHC 16GB and I have been very pleased with the results .The write capability in "burst mode " has been excellent and also the download speed to my computer .
I suspect the more serious / professional would have a more demanding requirement particularly in terms of capacity ,but for the hobbyist I would happily recommend this Transcend product which at about £10 from Amazon ,is a bargain .

Transcend 16gb SDHC 10`

When I purchased two of these, weighing in at all of 5 gramms each! I was expecting one postage cost and two items in one pack, NOT charged double and have two individual packs sent out, so almost immediately on receipt I wasnt impressed.

I bought these to run in Digital underwater cameras, they are supposed to be compatible, but when I got back home and tried downloading the pictures, video etc it was either very slow on one of the cards or it totally failed on the other.

As the value of th e cards is low, it is clearly a case of getting wht you pay for, in this case a pile of scrap, unfortunately it was my sons first underwater experience and it was all lost! so total waste of space from the product, and I am not even going to bother trying for a refund as experience on Amazon is that for anything electrical that goes wrong, it always somehow seems to be the buyers fault, never faulty goods, so Ill not bother with that option, just warn people that if you buy cheap you will invariably get cheap and crap quality especially from this buyer "in Jersey!!!!!" at very inflated postage costs!
