Simple to follow,

This book is easy,clear and conscise to follow.It has good descriptions and simple instructions to follow.It includes diagrams and pictures in black and white,quizzes and tests for you to fill in.It has information in it on chinese horoscopes,chinese mythology, lucky colours and fortune-telling. A good, interesting read for anyone interested for the first time.

If you don't know anything about Feng Shui, this is the place to start. Written from the viewpoint of explaining Feng Shui to a 12-13 year old child, it helps you understand the complicated aspects of the philosophy without overwhelming you. It's fun and makes you want to learn more. But beware, there are so many aspects of Feng Shui ( there is a time and day for everything, like bed set up!) you might get confused. A good campanion book for the beginner is Rocky Sui Kuong Sung's 1999 Guide to Feng Shui & Chinese Astrology.

It pretends to be for kids, but this book has a clearer, more sensible, and more concise handle on feng shui than anything else I have read. With great cartoons that illustrate the important points, and explanations that show exactly WHY feng shui has all these strange rules, it is an excellent book. Heartily recommended for anyone interested in feng shui, from ages eight to eighty!

If you want an introduction to Feng Shui, this book isfantastic. It explains everything is a very simple language (it's like a story told by a little boy). Very clear and easy. A great place to start! |
