Roku is intended to give more channels including EWTN. If you have wi-fi in your home, all you need to do is to connect the Roku to your TV
as you have the wi-fi at hand. You need to have access to the internet before you can use your Roku but it is easy to connect if you follow
the instructions in your box. If you do NOT have access to the internet, then you cannot use the Roku. I hope this helps. I have one exactly
like the one in the picture, Isabel

Of course it does, that is where the content comes from. But it is not a browser, so you are limited to Roku enabled content.

If you mean surf the internet then no. Unless they have added that feature since I got mine. I got me an LG smart TV that does everything and already had netflix etc ready to go so my roku is now doing service up in the bedroom.
