Have not read any of Jeffrey Deaver's books so wondering if people who have read his books rate him as capable of doing a better job than Sebastian Faulks and Devil May Care.

J. P. Seager says:
Personally prefer Carte Blanche by Jeffrey Deaver to Devil May Care. Carte Blanche has that detail, great back story and best of all lots of "inside" information about the Service, how it started, how it fits in the government and about the various departments. Great read once you get over the modern setting.
