There are abridged and unabridged versions. I have no idea which this is. However, product A Short History of Nearly Everything shows the abridged version at £20.90 + £0.01 sourcing fee. So this is very unclear and unsatisfactory.
It is unlike Amazon to obfuscate key information; perhaps they are reverting to one of their nation's worst characteristics. Surely the length and number of CDs are the most important parts of the technical specifications when buying audio books on CD. I notice that this information seems to be missing from all of the audio books that I have looked at on Amazon's site: very poor, must try harder.
